Meet Your Hosts:

  • Kyrie Sedano (she/her) is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) who supports sensitive BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ adults virtually in California. She has focused on trauma-informed treatment for over a decade, specializing in healing emotional and intergenerational wounds that prevent secure, loving connections. Kyrie is the owner of Embracing Healing Therapy Services, a mental health private practice committed to helping people heal shame and break painful patterns through curiosity, self-compassion and self-love for a healthier, more fulfilling life.

  • Patty Young (she/her) is a pleasure activist and experienced educator focused on sexual health, solo love, and rest as medicine. Happily single and childfree, Patty is an auntie to her community, she enjoys being in nature, discussing deep topics, and building community. Her guiding principle is love, embracing authenticity and presence for herself and others.

    Patty cherishes reading and believes it to be more than just a relaxing activity; she views it as world-changing and necessary. She enjoys discussing experiences and lessons learned from books and is passionate about being in a community that appreciates the slow and reflective nature of reading. As a group co-facilitator for the GNO Book of the Month, she brings this passion to the forefront, encouraging others to dive into the transformative power of books, conversation and community.
