Arnamentia is the Celtic Goddess of flowing water. 🌊
Arnamentia is revered as the goddess of spiritual healing and purification. She governs all bodies of water, including large seas, lakes, rivers and springs.
Her name is derived from the word “nemeton,” which means holy grove. According to her Celtic roots, the name “Arnementia” is interpreted to mean, “she who resides in the holy grove.” She brings rejuvenation and healing to the mind, body and spirit during times of turmoil.
To this day, this ancient goddess remains a mystery, for what we do know was written on stones by the prehistoric Celtic people. đź”® Originally a Roman deity, Arnamentia was adopted by continental Celts.
