Lakshmi is the Hindu Goddess of Prosperity. She is the embodiment of wealth and abundance in both the material and spiritual forms.

The word Lakshmi is derived from the Sanskrit word Laksya, meaning "aim" or "goal." She widely bestows her gifts on those who are open to receive.

She is associated with the lotus flower and is a symbol of good luck and fortune.
