Join us on 8/8 for a very special Unity Dance to honor the Lion’s Gate Portal. Heather Christie & Vir McCoy are bringing an evening of embodiment, music, ritual, and dance to Sacramento!
We’ll open our gathering with a workshop from Heather Christie called, “Embodying the Energy of the Lions Gate.” Together, we’ll drop into our bodies and into the potent energy of this portal.
Then, Heather Christie and Vir McCoy will guide us on an ecstatic dance journey.
A fusion of deep, organic grooves and uplifting live-electronic sound, Heather Christie and Vir McCoy create music that moves both body and soul.
Heather Christie is a multi-talented artist—a DJ, producer, vocalist, songwriter, mentor, music label founder, and mother—dedicated to ushering in a new wave of feminine musical creation. Her journey as a trailblazer in both motherhood and music has gone viral, earning features in multiple publications.
Joining her is Vir McCoy, a dynamic multi-instrumentalist known for his mastery of guitar, Irish tenor banjo, djeli ngoni (Mali), and the Turkish cĂĽmbĂĽĹź. As the founder of the iconic worldbeat band Hamsa Lila, Vir has performed alongside legends like the Mickey Hart Band and Dirtwire.
Together, Heather and Vir are a powerhouse duo—songwriters, co-producers, and innovators—currently completing their second full-length album. Their music resonates across Ecstatic Dance floors, festival stages, and even in commercials, carried by the winds of inspiration.
