There is something deeply feminine about creating beauty with your own hands. Join Tonya for a two-hour macramé experience designed to awaken your creativity, slow you down, and invite you to connect with your own inner Goddess.
This workshop will take place on Saturday around 11:00 am and can be added onto both weekend tickets and day passes.
Tonya will provide all the materials and the pattern to guide participants through the process of creating their own macrame piece.
Since discovering macramé in 2020, Tonya has transformed simple strands of cord into wall hangings, ornaments, jewelry, and stunning Goddess dresses — pieces that have become an extension of her creative expression and a way to celebrate the beauty of the feminine. In fact, the very first wall hanging Tonya created eventually became the inspiration for her first Goddess dress.
For her, macramé is more than simply tying knots — it is a grounding, anxiety-reducing creative practice, a way to beautify her surroundings with something made by her own hands, and a beautiful way to adorn and celebrate women.
And while a dress is far too intricate to complete in a two-hour workshop, the foundational knots and techniques used to create a wall hanging are the very same building blocks that can be taken into more elaborate creations. Through her creations and photography, she loves witnessing women step into their power, adorn themselves, and see themselves through a more loving and beautiful lens.
In this intimate, hands-on workshop, Tonya will teach you several foundational knots and share the tips and tricks she has gathered along her creative journey. You’ll then use those skills to create your own beautiful macramé wall hanging, choosing from natural driftwood and branches provided for you.
No experience is necessary — this is about getting out of your head, into your hands, and allowing your creativity to flow.
The workshop is $30 and will be held Saturday during Goddess Night Out Camping Weekend, with the remainder of Saturday and Sunday to continue your creation if needed. Come create, connect, soften, and remember the Goddess who already lives within you.
