For our Taurus New Moon Gathering, our sister Katie Blackthorn is leading Earth Church: A Plant Spirit Journey with Schisandra.
This will be a devotional gathering for women feeling called to reconnect with the healing magic of nature.
We'll call in the directions, drop beneath the noise of everyday life, and meet Schisandra through guided meditation. You'll meet her the way our ancestors did: not from books, Google, or trial-and-error, but by listening. By receiving the wisdom that comes when you sit in communion with a plant.
A sharing circle follows, along with Schisandra's medicinal qualities and ways to work with her in your day-to-day life.
You'll leave with a felt experience of one herbal ally and the seed of a devotional practice you can carry into the rest of your life.
After we connect with Schisandra, we’ll open for a sister circle to connect with one another and share our experience.
Katie Blackthorn is a Folk Herbalist in the Wise Woman Tradition, a psychotherapist, and a guide for underworld journeys and soul work. Her practice weaves herbal medicine, plant spirit devotion, psychedelic-assisted therapy, and ritual into unique pathways to healing. She tends women through the tender, transformative passages—the descents, the becomings, the returns.
