Gather under the Gemini Full Moon for a night celebrating Italian Culture and “La Dea” (translation: The Goddess) within each of us.
6:30 - 7:30 pm
Italian Folk Dance Workshop with members Balliamo!
We’re excited to be joined by members of the Balliamo! Italian Cultural Dance Performance Group to teach us traditional Italian Folk dances, like the Tarantella. Our honorary “Nonna” of the evening, Phyllis Cupparo, will share about the region each dance comes from and history of carrying on Italian tradition through the art of dance! Phyllis has been a member of Balliamo! for nearly 30 years.
8:00 - 9:30 pm
Women’s Dance Temple with DJ Lady Char
Then, DJ Lady Char will play a set inspired by the music of Italy, allowing us to connect with ourselves and each other on the dance floor during our Women’s Dance Temple.
9:30 pm
Closing Sound Healing feat. the Goddess Choir
Our evening will end with a soothing sound bath from the Goddess Choir.
